To do this I challenged myself to wear a decently cute outfit (instead of a tshirt/sweatshirt and jeans) to class everyday for the last two weeks. I know this doesn't sound like a difficult thing to do, but I am not a morning person and the last thing I want to do at 9 am when I'm only half awake and sleep deprived is to put any effort whatsoever into picking out an outfit. But I set my mind to it so for the last two weeks of school, or eight days of class, I began what I call The 8 Day Challenge! Here is part one, the first two days of the challenge:
The first day I really wanted to wear one of my favorite scarves. It's from Free People and it's really big with kind of an ombre dye from dark purple, to light purple, to pink. The pink corner is shredded and knotted so when it's folded it creates a cool layering effect. I'm not too happy with the rest of the outfit. I would have preferred to wear it without a sweater or even with shorts but I had to adapt to the weather. Looking back, I am quite ashamed with this shoe choice but whatever I probably wanted to be comfy and it was the first day of the challenge and I was adjusting OK! haha
For the second day of the challenge I wanted to wear my Obey Propaganda baseball tee which had yet to see the light of day this year. It's pretty basic and comfy, but I love Obey so I bent the rules a little bit to consider it cute enough for the challenge. The neck is really wide and slightly off the shoulder so it looks weird in the first picture because I am lifting my arm. Also it was pretty rainy that day so I had to wear rain boots :(
So those were the first two days of my 8 Day Challenge! Feel free to try your own challenge for the end of your school year! Obviously you can adapt it to fit your schedule or make the challenge as long as you think you can handle! Also leave me a comment below and let me know if you decide to do this because I would love to hear from you or check yours out!
oxxo Leo.
