Sizzle

Take me back to summer! Here's an outfit I wore in the beginning of September when the weather was warmer. Super simple outfit: the cami and skirt are from Forever21 and the sandals are Steve Madden. I had just gotten a hair cut and it was so awkward to curl but it frizzed after an hour out anyways haha

Sometimes I have trouble naming my posts. Today's I titled Sizzle because it's a SimpLE outfit with a side of hair frIZZ. Get it? Get it?

Touched Down in London Town

Finally, my time in London! I studied abroad in London during June and July this summer and it was one of the coolest experiences of my life! It's very hard to pack two months worth of outfits, shoes, accessories, and toiletries in a suitcase and duffel bag. Because of this, I tried to bring a lot of basics that I could mix and match and layer together. London weather varies so much within a single day so I definitely needed to layer almost everyday and have everything from warm jackets to tanks and shorts. So if my outfits seem super random it's because I faced so many kinds of weather. Here are some pictures from my trip including outfit choices and other random things I did and enjoyed. Get ready for a long post...

And of course my song choice is London themed! LDN by Lily Allen

This top is from Abercrombie and Fitch (I don't shop there but I had a gift card), jeans are Guess, shoes are Lucky Brand, and bangle is Kate Spade.

I had to change into combat boots from Aldo beause it was supposed to rain that night. Pretending to be Harry Potter and King's Cross Station!

I wore the Love Triangle Tank from Nasty Gal out one night (similar here and here).

Here I am wearing my Buffalo David Bitton sheer plaid top (seen in my post here), Bare Bones Body Chain, Mavi Jeans, and Aldo combat boots.

Again, channeling Harry Potter in my cutout dress from Akira (also in my Vegas post)

I spent fourth of July in London, and we went on a really fun America pub crawl!

My favorite part of London was all the markets that are open throughout the week. They sell everything like food, clothes, produce, and antiques! Here I am at borough market enjoying some fish and chips. I look really happy but fish and chips in London is just that good...

I also had the opportunity to attend Wireless Festival with my friend Micayla. I saw John Newman, J Cole, Outkast, Ellie Goulding, and Bruno Mars. We got rained on but it was so much fun! I wore this evil twin tank from Nasty Gal.

Here are some other random pictures from my trip:
