Barcelona, Naples/Capri, and Brussels!

I just realized I never blogged about the last leg of my Summer 2014 travels! After studying abroad in London, I traveled for about a week. I went to Barcelona (Spain), Naples and Capri (Italy), and Brussels (Belgium). Living out of a duffel bag for a week was not easy and this post is primarily about travel and less about fashion. And in most of the pictures I'm just being a goof... (Side note: I had a sprained ankle so please ignore my ankle brace)
I also chose this song called Come Alive by Foreign Figures to accompany my post. It's a really upbeat and tropical/worldly sounding song so I thought it went perfectly with my experience. Enjoy some of my pics!

Hot Stuff

I rarely feel like wearing my American Apparel disco pants, but when I do they make me feel great! I went for kind of a throwback 80s vibe in this outfit with a cropped acid wash jean shirt, crop top, body chain, and combat boots. I wish I remember what song was playing but it must have been a good one because I felt the need to whip my hair... which led to this funny gif! Also below is a song suggestion for the week :)

So maybe whipping your hair around won't result in the best hairdo but it makes for a great gif and a good time!

A Chance Encounter

My roommate took this picture of me after a night out at a bar. I did nothing to my hair so it got kind of ridiculous after a few hours. This sweater is one that I love and I was really excited about wearing it that night. It is from one of Nasty Gal's early collections and I love the mix of patterns and how fun it is! My jeans are Guess and my shoes are Steve Madden.

Today I have two versions of a song for you! I love "Like I Can" by Sam Smith and this cover by the Gardiner Sisters is gorgeous. Enjoy!

Say Something

WOW I actually feel pretty horrible about how little I have posted in the past few months. Just to further emphasize how behind I've gotten, I am wearing shorts in this post... It's December... Anyways! I absolutely love this free people top I got on sale at Macy's. I paired it with shorts during the day and with jeans for dinner when it got cooler out. The sandals are my faves from Lucky Brand.

Amster-dayumm

During my study abroad in London I had the opportunity to visit Amsterdam for barely more than 24 hours. I really wish I had more time there. There was a lot of nice shopping and other tourist aspects of the city I wasn't able to take advantage of. That being said, I can't wait to go back! Here are a few pictures from my visit:
