Back in March I went on my senior year of college spring break. I know a lot of people do crazy week long trips to Mexico with a huge group of friends but college is crazy and wild enough for me so I went a different route. My roommate and I took a relaxing trip to Naples, Florida. Ive been to Naples plenty of times before but I had never been to Miami so we then drove across the state for two days and one fun night out! I had an amazing time enjoying the beach and sun, while also getting to wear some cute summer outfits! Check out some of my pics below.
For our first dinner we went to my favorite pizza place. Super casual, I wore this floral printed button up tank and jean shorts.
Our second night in Naples my roommate and I walked to a restaurant and bar for drinks after dinner. I wore a mint crochet tank by Somedays Lovin', white shorts by Roxy, and a floral fringe kimono I bought from a little market in London.
White Hanes t-shirts are my go-to on beach vacations. They're light weight and comfortable making them perfect for warm weather. But the beach and sand can get clothes dirty so they're cheap and affordable too! Although you can barely see it in these pictures, my bikini is from Victoria's Secret. In the morning we took a walk down the beach while it was cool and cloudy and even got to see wild dolphins up close swimming in and out of the bay! In the afternoon the clouds cleared up and we had a gorgeous day.
This is a beautiful tree we saw at the enterance to a neighborhood. I know it's kind of random but the color was so beautiful especially against the blue of the sky, I thought it was worth sharing!
For our last night in Naples I wore this printed dress which has a back cutout detail from Forever 21. I paired it with my Lucky Brand Andie Sandals and a braided elastic belt from American Apparel to accentuate my waist.
We arrived in Miami! I wore this loose striped t-shirt from Urban Outfitters.
We went to a beautiful Italian restaurant called Cibo. I wore this mint crop top from Pac Sun and crochet midi skirt from Volcom (see it in my Paris post
here).
For our night out, I swapped the crochet skirt for a black neoprene skater skirt from Nasty Gal and these amazing strappy heels from Steve Madden. We went to a sports bar which converts to an outdoor club at night time. There were DJs, a fun dance floor, and a little seating area where we were standing in the picture below.
For our very last day, I wore this crochet and lace tank from Free People. You can also see how I wore it in the fall in my
Just A Memory post! I again wore my high-waisted Roxy shorts and Lucky Brand Sandals. We got a delicious piƱa colada and strawberry daiquiri frozen drink on Ocean Drive and relaxed in a park.
And that was the end of our trip! I hope you liked this post and enjoyed seeing what I did for spring break this year. Comment below where you went for spring break, I would love to hear!
