Anyone who's attempted to travel lightly knows that the practice is not kind to your wardrobe or being fashionable. Ideally, I would bring 4 pairs of shoes, 6 outfits, all my makeup, a blow dryer, and a straightener. All for just one weekend haha. Unfortunately, this isn't possible and when I visited Paris in June my outfits were not as on-point as I would have liked. Regardless, I will show you what I wore anyways.
The first day (Friday) I wore this Bar III maxi dress in shades of pink and navy. I bought this purse for 7 pounds in London at H&M because it was the perfect size to fit all my stuff for day trips and long periods of time. When it was cooler I layered on this cargo jacket from Akira. The only pair of shoes I wore in Paris were my Lucky Brand Andie sandals aka my favorite shoes.
One of my favorite parts of the UK and Europe is the gelato you can find everywhere! Several times, including when I was in Paris, I bought gelato from
Amorino. My favorite combo of gelato or ice cream is chocolate and coffee. So good!
Here is the Arc de Triomphe during the day and at night:
Friday night we went to a silly bar that sold drinks in baby bottles. They were ridiculously expensive and in my opinion not worth the price. But it was still a really fun experience. To order the drink you must draw the character that the drink is named after. I ordered the Anastasia and here is my mediocre drawing. I wore a sheer collared tank from Free People.
Saturday I wore this outfit which I liked a lot better. I wore my basic black crop top from boohoo and the Volcom Dwell skirt I bought from Karmaloop (also
here). Again, without proper hair products and tools I had to au nautral and my hair looked a little jungle-y. Sorry!
That morning we climbed to the top of Notre Dame. It was a beautiful day and the view was amazing!
We also went to the Love Lock bridge.
And the Eiffel Tower! We climbed to the second level after dark and the view was really cool with all of the lights.
Sunday morning, before we went to catch the Eurostar we stopped at the Louvre. I wore my crochet tank from Free People which you can also see in
this post and Guess jeans.
I hope you enjoyed this glimpse of my weekend in Paris! I have so many pictures from my travels abroad and I am still working on my London post (which is where I studied abroad) and the other cities I visited. Let me know in the comments if there's anything in particular you want to see from my travels or anything you'd like me to talk about regarding my experience!
